Happy Sunday!

I started this as a way to remember to enjoy what I have and to be thankful. Even when I'm having a rough day, I still have so much that makes me happy. Go ahead and link up, share what is making you happy today!

Here are five things that are making me happy today:
Since we purchased our home, I have been hesitant to put nail holes into our fresh, clean, newly painted (that took us days and days to paint ourselves) walls. These strips are perfect for me as I try to figure out our style and what pictures look best where. I love that I can change my mind and not have five different nail holes in one area because I couldn't get the picture hung just right!

I love this site! My Mom sent it to me a year or two ago and we have made many recipes that taste just like it came right from the store or restaurant. Probably the recipe we use most often is Wendy's Chili, but I am excited to try some of Olive Garden's soups, and I recently gave my Mother-in-law the recipe for Jack Daniel's glaze (which she loves). Most of the recipes are free and some you have to pay for, but they are less than $1 and SO worth it!

3. My Auntie Karen!
She is my Brother's Godmother and we are really close. She is the most fun, sweet, caring and loving person and I know I can count on her for anything! We don't get enough time to visit together, but when we do it is always wonderful! {Love you Auntie K!}

Oh. My. Gosh. These look amazing! Although I really want to make them, I have a feeling that if I see how easy they are to make, they might become a staple in our fridge and may make me gain 100 pounds! I think that these will be my dish for the next potluck I attend!

5. My Parent's backyard.
Mom and Dad have worked so very hard to make their acre of land into a beautiful oasis and they were able to keep many aspects that we all loved from when my Grandparents lived there. Some special features are the fountain {in the middle of the picture} because we spent many hours splashing in it on warm summer days and one of the most special features is our tree house {in the top right} that my Dad and Pawpaw built us. I love going home because I can listen to the ocean waves while watching the butterflies float around on eucalyptus scented air, and take time to relax and make new memories with my family.

What is making you happy today? Do you have any special recipes or places that help you remember good times from the past?

I love command strips too!! Greg is very "picky" about where we put permanent holes in his freshly painted walls, which I don't blame him. Plus, I can hang stuff by my (big-girl) self with these babies!:)
