Happy Saturday!

I know it's been awhile since I've blogged, who knew that being a stay at home Mom (while on maternity leave) would leave absolutely zero time to get on the computer?

Here I sit with a few precious hours to myself, typing away on my phone to share some happiness with you!

Happy Saturday friends!!

Like I mentioned, I have a few hours to myself today. I decided to give Bailey and I a break from each other and she is spending a few hours with her cousins and Mema. We have been together almost 24/7 these past 2 months and I think we both needed a break. I'm enjoying the cool breeze while reading a book and devouring some sugar.

I've been trying to find activities to do with Bailey that don't require much movement on my part. Sitting, drawing with chalk this morning was perfect!

She kept handing me colors and I just kept going over her name. It reminds me of rainbow sherbet!

I might have been crazy, but some friends were going camping last weekend and when they invited us I immediately said yes!
(Nope, that big, beautiful, comfortable camper was not ours!) Bailey, Chris and I camped in a 6 person tent... Complete with a deflated air mattress both nights, waking up to 4 hours of rain the first morning, and a very memorable trip.
I'm so glad that we did it and it was so fun making memories on Bailey's first camping trip. She loves to talk about how she slept in a tent and saw a gopher and are marshmallows!

I have a favorite brand of chips that is made in my hometown, but they weren't sold down here. Mom would buy me boxes at Costco and it was such a treat! On our last trip to the market I saw this:

YES!!! Taco Works chips are now sold in my local market! (It might be dangerous until I get my fill)!

I much prefer taking baths to showers and I love the scent of these bath bombs:

It reminds me of Hawaii or Tahiti or somewhere else tropical, the perfect addition to the bath!

We are still awaiting the arrival of our little guy, 11 days to go if he comes when scheduled! Hopefully I'll have time and energy and ability to get a few more posts in before he comes so I can show you his room and catch up on this pregnancy!

I hope that you all are enjoying the weekend and starting the week off happy!!

Xoxo,
Mallory
