I was so lucky because my Mom and Dad were able to give me a little break and took Bailey to visit them for a few days. Giving me a much needed respite; and the ability to sleep for 8 hours straight. It's AMAZING how rested I felt after getting some good sleep! I was also able to run some errands, work on the baby's room and lounge on the couch a bit. THANK YOU MOM AND DAD!!!
Chris and I headed up to My Parent's Friday night after he got off of work. We enjoyed a nice drive together, talking and just being together without constant interruptions from the backseat!
Saturday morning we went to the town easter egg hunt {same as last year}.
They still had the creepy Easter Bunny:
and Bailey still loved him! Bailey jumped in the bounce house for awhile before the hunt started.
Fortunately, she had a great time because it was a little hectic once the hunt started:
Bailey was able to grab one {already opened and discarded} egg. She was ecstatic with her find! We marveled at how crazy some of the parents get...especially on the field for the 2-3 year olds!
Saturday evening we were SO happy to celebrate the wedding of one of my best friends, Chelsea to her love, Cameron. They had a lovely wedding at a cattle ranch in San Luis Obispo and all of the personal touches were so wonderful!
Chelsea asked me to make them some garlands for décor and I was excited to see how they were used:
This was the entrance to the reception. It was so fun seeing how my garlands were used!
*My shop will be closed for a few months so if you want to order something, better get it in now!*
Bailey was obsessed with Chelsea and would not leave her side for more than a few minutes. There were so many sweet, personal touches, it really was just perfect!
We were able to capture a rare moment where Bailey wasn't on the dance floor. She was a dancin' fool and didn't even eat dinner because she was too busy dancing!
Easter Sunday was beautiful and we enjoyed a more fruitful egg hunt in our backyard.
We had about 20 people over for a lovely lunch {and another egg hunt for Bailey and her friend Merrick}. The weather was just beautiful and it was great catching up with our family friends!
We ended Easter with Grandpa reading Bailey a bedtime story before we all crashed in our beds.
It was a weekend full of family, friends, and love. We had a great visit and are so lucky to have the love and support that we do! I hope that you had a wonderful Easter weekend!
