Happy Halloween!
Halloween was big in our house growing up and ours was the spooky house; we took a day or two to decorate the outside, choose spooky music and used our fog machine and strobe light. Dad was known by the neighborhood kids as the three-headed man because he had a mask that was of the three stooges.
It was fun opening the door because the kids would be right there awaiting candy and their parents would be at the beginning of the entryway, usually dancing in the fog and strobe lights.

Chris and I carved our pumpkins Friday night and we were lucky to have Friday and Saturday off together (I was at work on Sunday). Chris carved a LA Kings crown (his favorite hockey team) and I went a little more artsy, creating a spiral around my entire pumpkin (just shallowly carving it, not going all the way through).

We were allowed to dress up at work this year and I chose to be Brian Wilson (the relief pitcher from the SF giants). He is known for his black beard, so I made my own and wore my Giants gear. I think it was good luck because they won tonight, leading the world series 3 games to 1!

A few of my coworkers also dressed up:
Me: Brian Wilson, Deanna: a 911 prisoner, Cheryl: a sumo wrestler (inflatable), and Jodie: a girl from the show True Blood.
I hope that you had a safe and fun Halloween! Hopefully next year we will be home to pass out candy!
