We have been busy lately! I have some wonderful pictures from the 4th of July to share and our recent trip to Washington, but those will have to wait until I have a day off and can get on my computer to upload them!
We have been busy these last few weeks, house-hunting, working, and recovering from our trip to visit my Grandma (and the flights, as one of us is not fond of flying).
We've found a house that we really like and have put in an an offer. Now it's just time to wait, it's partially a short sale (the seller has accepted our offer, YAY!, but now we do have to wait for the bank to see if they will accept it as well). The bank can take as long as they like looking at our offer, or keep shuffling it to the bottom of the pile. We have heard that banks can take anywhere from two weeks up to six months, so for now we are crossing our fingers and hope that it works out. Fortunately, we have a place to live with no looming move out date (no move out date at all, as our landlords seem to like us, but hopefully we won't be kept waiting for too much longer!).
