Our Monday

Fortunately we both had yesterday off and we were able to have a wonderful day together.

We started out the day with Chris making some wonderful waffles (yes, our waffle maker makes heart shaped waffles and mine almost always have mini chocolate chips in them)!

Next we had a few errands to run and it always make errands less taxing when you have someone to go with! We then headed into Ventura to drive by some houses that are for sale to see if we liked them from the outside and the neighborhood they were in. We only saw one that we liked but I think that it's already been sold.


We live in such a beautiful place and we decided to take advantage of it by talking a walk here:


This is the Ventura boardwalk that is along the beach. Yesterday was pretty foggy with small waves, but there were many people out enjoying the beauty of Ventura and trying to catch a good ride to shore. It was wonderful to just be able to hold hands, talk about whatever came into our minds, and breathe in the fresh sea air.

We met Chris' friend Ryan at Macaroni grill for dinner and then we went to see the movie Grown Ups (with Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade, and Rob Schneider) and even though I thought it would be a stupid comedy, I was a good wife and saw it with them. It was actually better than I thought and an enjoyable evening.

I always seem to sleep better with my husband at my side and last night was no different. I hope that you had an enjoyable Monday and that your Tuesday is starting off well!
