Waiting, waiting...

Well...we are still waiting to hear from the bank on the house that we have put an offer in on. The house is in Camarillo, three bedrooms, two baths, with a large back yard and very open kitchen. While we wait, my mind has been imagining how our home will be decorated no matter where it is.

Awhile back, I was thinking of words to describe how I want the rooms in my future house to be and here is what I came up with:

Bedroom: Relaxing

Kitchen: Cheery

Family room: Comforting

Living room: Welcoming

Guest room: Inviting

Backyard: Fun

What words describe your home?

I found this piece of artwork on etsy.com (love this site for handmade items, but a word of caution it can be addicting because you can find some wonderful items!) I purchased it and it has a little more yellow and a little less purple in it. I am going to use it to be a jumping off point for decorating our guest room, once we have one.

It is a wonderful reminder that no matter what we are going through, today is a brand new day, take a deep breath, and keep going. I know that we all get bogged down with everyday things: responsibilities piling up, lack of sleep, not enough "me" time, and just feeling overwhelmed. Take a deep breath, turn your face Heavenward, and give thanks for today; no matter how long the day seems, no matter how much you have on your plate, be thankful for today! I am thankful for you! What are you thankful for today?
