Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday friends!
Here's looking back at my week with some happy happenings.

I've been trying to eat healthier, which is sometimes hard especially when I'm at work because every shift someone is ordering take out and it's so tempting to join them. The other day I decided to order fruit for breakfast (instead of the delicious pancakes). I was very happy when I opened my container and saw:
Delicious strawberries, watermelon, grapes, and berries!
Normally you get some cantaloupe, honeydew, and pineapple (none of which are my favorite). I was so happy with these delicious fruits!

It is rare that I go off by myself and making a trip to the market by myself was a treat. I had to laugh when I looked down and saw that my jeans had some spit up on them.
You can never get too far from your kids.

I haven't been doing much of anything with my Etsy shop lately. Even though I haven't been adding new garlands or promoting it, I've been making some custom orders lately. I really enjoy crafting and taking the time to put these together has really been making me happy!
This was a custom Tiffany blue, shimmery silver, and black garland.

Friendship is good for the soul!
Friendship combined with a few drinks and dessert...even better!
I was able to grab some drinks and dessert with one of my best friends the other day and boy did I need it! Being able to talk, uninterrupted was so wonderful!

Chris and I get to see each other most days, but it's usually for an hour or two before he goes to work, or if I come home while on a short break from my job. We rarely get time, just the two of us and more than ever, I have been realizing we need to be there for each other.
Maybe we aren't able to physically be together, but there are ways that we can support each other when we are apart.
I saw this on pinterest the other day and it really spoke to me.

There are things I can do when not with Chris, to help him and be a better partner. I've been making an effort to make sure I clean up the kids toys and make sure the kitchen is cleaned up before going to bed (it's amazing how much I can get cleaned if I just do 5 minutes of work). Seeing his work clothes in the hamper and making sure those get washed first, filling up his car with gas when I borrow it, giving him some time to get away, distress and recharge his batteries.
Sometimes I have to remind myself that we picked each other and even though our times together are few and far between, there are ways to keep being the right partner when we aren't together.

I hope that your week is full of happy things!
Feel free to share how your week is happy!
