Easter catch up...

I know it's a little delayed, but I finally have time to post about Easter!
{for memory's sake...since Mommy brain is in full effect!}

Even though Bailey was sick, we still ventured out for an Easter celebration in town.
We found the Easter Bunny!
The local 4H set up a little petting zoo with their animals and Bailey loved standing there petting the bunnies, lizards, and chickens.

Yep...this Easter Bunny was here too.
We all thought he was pretty creepy {can you see those teeth??}, but Bailey actually liked him. Anytime she saw him from afar she shouted out "Bunny!", although it sounded more like "Money", she got really excited whenever she spotted him.

Nana, Grandpa, and Uncle Christopher The Easter Bunny hid some eggs throughout the yard for Bailey to hunt and she had a great time finding them!

Bailey ran right up to the chicken coop since she knows that that is where you find eggs on a  daily basis.

The day was absolutely beautiful, perfect bubble blowing weather!

My little love!

Bailey loves her Uncle Christopher...I think the feeling is mutual!

There is always work to be done around the yard, Bailey pitched in with raking the lawn.

"Who, me?"

We were there too!
{I guess we still like each other!}

Christopher, Bailey, Me, & Chris

After Christopher headed home, we went to a park in Morro Bay. It was fun watching Bailey play at the park my Nana and Pawpaw took us when we were younger.

The park has sea animal statues, and Bailey liked climbing all around them.

Grandpa and Nana are the best!

Bailey only wanted me to carry her and I love this picture Mom took of us!

Bailey is definitely a California girl, loving the beach and having no fear of the waves. She runs right out into the surf, not minding the cold water.

This picture reminds me of this picture:
I love this John Ramos picture because it shows how we spent many days growing up, watching Dad surf with his friends while we spent the day on the beach. I have this picture in our beachy bathroom and it always makes me smile.

When we first met, Chris was not a fan of the beach...I turned that around!

Chris was finding sand crabs to show Bailey, he's such a good Dad!

My lovely parents!
Don't they look like they belong in a magazine?

Even though Bailey was still sick, the sand and salt water seemed to help slough off more skin, the sea air was healing!
I am so blessed, living where I do and being so close to my family. We had a great holiday (it was also Dad's birthday!) and spending time together was the best way to celebrate!
