May 2014 photos

Hello friends!
As always the days are flying by and we are doing our best to fill our days with memories together.
Here is our month, in pictures and snippets:

I've seen some fun Pinterest photo shoot ideas so I decided to try to recreate one with Bailey:
Here she is in my wedding dress. This was a quick, iPhone photo, but I would love to do some better pictures and hide them away until she's getting married to share them with her.

We actually had a day off together a few weeks ago and we decided to BBQ some steaks. I was in the kitchen when I looked out the window and seeing these two together made my heart swell.

We went to a local farmer's market and Bailey got her face painted for the first time. She sat really still and liked looking at herself in the mirror when it was done.

It was in the high 80s-90s this month, so we spent a lot of time outside playing in the water and drawing with chalk. Although, I'm not sure if more chalk got on the ground or on Bailey.

Bailey decided that she wanted to wear her overalls over her clothes one day, and then slipped one arm out of the strap and happily wore this outfit for the rest of the day. My own little Punky Brewster!

Chris' Mom took Bailey and her cousin Ella to Costco one day and sent me this picture. I'm so happy that they get along so well and act more like sisters than cousins.

Bailey posing at our front door. She either loves having her picture taken, or wants nothing to do with it. More often than not, she is a little ham and loves being in front of the camera.

We made some cookies to take to the hospital to celebrate Eden being born. Bailey is becoming a big help in the kitchen and wanted to work the mixer by herself. It might take a little longer and get a little messier than if I did it by myself, but I love watching her grow, learn new things and making these memories together. I'd say a little mess is worth it!

I am so, so thankful for Facetime! Here we are chatting with my Mom.

We spent some time at the park last week. I love Bailey's new shoes!

My Mom found this picture of me, at age 3, and posted it on Facebook. So many people thought it was Bailey, and in this picture I can easily see the resemblance between me and Bailey.

Bailey loves pulling her wagon more than riding in it. This was one of our almost daily walks around the neighborhood.

My Parents got four new baby chickens and Bailey is in love!

Bailey is up visiting my Mom and Dad and they spent the day at the beach. I love that Bailey gets to play at the same beach where we spent many days growing up!

I love her bright swim suit!

I sure miss this girl when we are apart, but I love that she gets to spend time with her Nana and Grandpa!
