Last weekend I threw a baby shower for my Sister-In-Law, Elizabeth. She is having her second girl in May and I am so excited to meet my new Niece!
Before Mom and I started decorating, we took Bailey Boo to the park. Isn't she a beauty?!
I went with a pink theme and had fun decorating!
Eden banner from here {this is the second banner I've purchased from this shop and I love them!}
Circle banner from my shop
pink and white fans from Michael's
It was a little cooler than expected, but still beautiful enough to have the shower on our back patio.
The table was set with tulips down the center, each place setting had a bib to decorate and a mason jar drinking glass {with pretty tape decorating it}. I love it when I can reuse items, these mason jar drinking glasses were the same ones I used for Bailey first birthday, but with different tape and straws.
We played two games:
1. Guess what baby food was in the baby jar just by sight and smell (I tested Chris the night before and he only missed 2 out of 10. I was impressed!).
2. Guess the baby item that was in a small paper bag, just by feel. It was really fun and fun to see what people came up with.
Mom and I melted some chocolate, poured it into a squeeze bottle and made E's, hearts, and spelled out Eden on wax paper. After it hardened, we used them to decorate the cupcakes.
We had a pink mini-dessert buffet with cupcakes, white chocolate covered rice krispie treats, gumballs, sixlets, m&m's, pink lemonade marshmallows, and circus animal cookies.
My talented Mom took this beautiful picture and decorated the gift bag.
Bailey LOVED helping her Auntie Beth Beth (as she calls her) open presents, Bailey got really excited when she opened diapers!
Big sister Ella wasn't into taking pictures, this was the best we could get of the four of us.
Bailey on the other hand, is a little ham and loves getting her picture taken. I was happy to oblige and got some really cute ones with my girl.
I love this one of Bailey and her Memaw (Chris' Mom), they sure love each other!
I was glad we could get a few pictures of me, Bailey, and my Mom!
My sunshine!
My Bailey Boo!
We had a great time celebrating Elizabeth and Eden (and big sister Ella)!
What are your favorite shower games to play? Is there any that you hate?
