This week

This week has been very warm here in Southern CA!

We have spent a lot of time doing this:

 

Attempting to use watercolor paints for the first time...B enjoyed pouring out the water on the patio and splashing in it better than painting.

At 9am on Sunday, we were playing in the backyard with the hose because it was already 80 degrees out!

Our backyard is suffering in the heat (mostly due to our lack of green thumbs) but we have a few of these beauties under our bedroom window. I love the vibrant colors!

When Chris got home from work the other night, we decided that margaritas sounded really good, so we went out to our favorite Mexican restaurant. Bailey was enjoying the attention she was getting from (and giving to) the other diners and we had an enjoyable dinner together!

I'm excited to see where this shop takes me and how I can use it as my creative outlet.

 

We had another great week. I'm looking forward to having a day off with Chris tomorrow {while Bailey is at daycare} so we can get some things done around the house.
