Sunday

I'm living up to my hope of blogging more!

Yesterday, Chris and I had a parent's day off together! Bailey was up visiting my parents and we had nothing that needed to get done, so we allowed ourselves a relaxing day.

This was the sunrise on my way home from work. God sure used His paintbrush to color the clouds and sky! I was in awe!

After napping a bit after I got home, we went to the Yardhouse for lunch. The food was just ok, but we were able to sit (enjoying a cocktail) and talk without having to cater to a little one squirming about.

Even though we enjoyed our day together, we were missing Bailey, so we Facetimed with her for a few minutes. She was in a really silly mood and was laughing almost the entire time.

I was able to spend some time working in my "workshop" and filled some new bobbins with new thread colors. I'm excited to see how these enhance my garlands!

It has been wonderful to have some time away from Bailey {it's amazing how much I can get done when I don't have Bailey underfoot while I'm trying to get things done} but I'm really excited to have her back home tonight! I'm so thankful that our family is so accommodating with our schedules and are able and willing to help care for Bailey. I know it's good for her to be away from us a bit and make memories with her Nana and Grandpa!

Judging by this picture...she's enjoying her day too!
