Wow, wow, wow!
How have these past 36 weeks flown by?
It seems like just yesterday I was telling Chris that we were going to be parents!
It seems that there have been benchmarks all though out this pregnancy:
12 weeks: safe to tell everyone (although Chris was too excited and told everyone at 10 weeks)
16 weeks: finding out we were having a girl
21 weeks: felt Bailey move for the first time
24 weeks: ultrasound to make sure organs are forming correctly, started baby classes
30 weeks: Had my first baby shower
36 weeks: feeling that she could come anytime now!
I think the hardest part of these next few weeks will be the waiting.
I'm a planner by nature and like to know when things are going to happen {I used to live by my day planner} but with pregnancy, there is no telling when she will arrive.
Bailey's room is ready, her clothes are ready, {I think} we're ready.
I'm not nervous for her arrival {the process or what comes after} I'm just trying to adjust to the unknown:
Will she give us enough notice so our family can get to the hospital in time?
Will I need a C-section?
Will she be a calm or fussy baby?
Will I have an easy recovery or a difficult one?
I'm excited to see how this brings Chris and I closer together, because it already has.
We are so lucky to have each other and soon to be this little girl.
Let the next chapter in our lives together begin!
This is our song, and we truly are the luckiest!
