Last week, I had a few days off and went to visit Mom and Dad. As always, I had some wonderful relaxing days with them!
Mom and I went for a walk and this is the view at the end of their street (and where we set up chairs to watch 4th of July fireworks). Morro Rock!
I loved these tall plants that moved with the breeze from the bay.
We stopped for lunch at Sylvester's and it was delicious as always!
We had fun decorating for their Halloween party (more to come in another post) and had fun under the black light near the front door.
More black light fun!
My ghoulish parents!
Can't include a visit to Mom and Dad's without a picture of the girls! They followed me around the yard as I took pictures. {Iris, Lola, and Madge}
The pond in the North garden {it used to be the master bathtub!}
Beautiful bougainvillea
I thought that this plant had wonderful fall colors and looked like it was on fire!
I did plenty of this!
I was able to catch up on some sleep and read in the lounge chair on the back patio in the sunshine. I love the eucalyptus scented air and hearing the roar of the ocean in the distance.
It was a much needed time of relaxation and togetherness.
What's your favorite part of visiting family?
