Happy today!

I know I've gotten away from regularly posting, which includes my weekly Happy Sunday posts. Since most of the pictures on my phone are of the kids, and I try to keep my Happy Sunday posts about other things, I made sure to make an effort to take pictures of other subjects for your enjoyment.

It was my birthday last week and one of my dear friends got me this:
I love this for two reasons:
1. because hopefully it'll help me to stay organized and be able to find my keys, etc. faster!
2. because my friend knows me so well and knew that this would fit into our décor so well! It's always nice having friends who know just what you want, even before you do!

I haven't had any caffeine in about four months because we found it was one of the causes of Wyatt's reflux. I was happy to find this spiced cider at Target that fit into the Keurig. While it's not quite a delicious cup of coffee, it is nice to have a warm drink in my mug!
{I got this mug from Hearst Castle when Chris' grandparents came to visit a few years ago and we made an impromptu trip up the coast}

Sunsets in rearview mirrors. Memories made at the beach with my family. A good day in the memory books.

We are having a cookie exchange this week at MOPS and I need to bring 87 cookies! I made one batch of cookies that didn't turn out (even Chris said I shouldn't take them!), so I decided to cheat. I bought some premade sugar cookies from Ralphs and Bailey and I decorated them yesterday. They're still considered homemade if they're home-decorated right??

Crafting with my girl. My Aunt sent me a cute Minnie mouse wreath project and I thought Bailey would love helping to make it. She jumped right in with me while Wyatt napped. We didn't get the project done, but she got to practice using scissor sand gluing and was very excited to help.

Our house is minimally decorated for Christmas and even though I didn't use all our décor, I'm happy with how festive it feels. Our December schedule is very busy and I'm looking forward to lots of family time!
