Randomness

Trying to catch up on blogging and sharing some photos from my phone...

Part of our bedtime routine with Bailey is to do family hugs and the other night Wyatt was awake and got to join us. Bailey wanted to hold him and as I propped him next to her she started talking to him. She said, "Come here little buddy. You're my best friend!"
I am the luckiest to have such a sweet girl. These two make me happy!

Chris and I were able to go on a date night last week, we went to a preseason LA Kings game. It was nice to get out just the two of us. We went to the Yardhouse (as has become tradition) for dinner before the game.
We had great seats and even though they lost, we had a nice time together.

Going 8 hours without feeding Wyatt or pumping made me very full by the time we arrived home!

I've reopened my Etsy shop and have been working on a custom order for a masquerade ball. I was planning on working while Wyatt napped, but he decided watching me work was more fun. It's hard to say no to this cute face already!

Coming back to work has left me so tired and thankful for any bit of cuddle time with my sweet kiddos. Wyatt was a bit fussy and wouldn't sleep in his swing, but as soon as I cradled him in my arms, he fell right asleep! I was able to sit and enjoy my sweet boy.

I was reading up on breastfeeding and read that it's best to drink a gallon of water each day to stay hydrated and keep supply up. I have a favorite cup and I thought I was getting close to a gallon of water. I figured a gallon was 2 or 3 of these cups.

I decided to measure out the amount of water to see how many glasses I actually needed to drink and was shocked to find out that I need to drink 8 of these! Holy Moly...my two or three wasn't cutting it! Now I'm keeping track and drinking way more.

Bailey loves to pick out her clothes and I'm learning to let her wear whatever she picks, even if it sometimes makes me cringe.

This is the outfit she picked for school one day. Very bright and full of purple, she was easy to spot on the playground when I picked her up. She was so happy with her outfit and eagerly told her teachers she picked it out herself.

We are getting back into the swing of our kind of normal. Chris and I try to change our work schedules so one of us is home with the kids and that leaves us with very few days together. Even though we are tired and miss each other, we sure are thankful for our kids and our jobs and the time we do get together!
