Our Bailey Boo is 6 months old already!
She is still growing like a weed and learning new things everyday!
She weighs 18.8 pounds (80th percentile) and is 27.5 inches long (90th percentile)
She loves:
sitting up to play with her toys
scooting backwards (she is so close to crawling forward!)
rice cereal and oatmeal (she is a great eater and we're slowly introducing new foods)
to be naked/just in her diaper
baths or any water (we start swimming lessons this month!)
taking walks (she is very observant and is constantly looking at her surroundings)
her parents (most days). She recgonizes our voices and usually smiles when she hears us (in person or on the phone)
This month has probably been the hardest for all of us.
She hasn't been sleeping well in her crib so we've had to let her sleep in her swing a few nights so that we could all get a bit of rest.
We've started giving her formula mixed with breastmilk because my supply is waning (so that could be part of the rough month) and we are trying to find the best balance of formula, milk, and food for her.
She is still a happy, personable, funny girl...with a few moments of angst thrown in to keep us on our toes.
Even in the tougher moments we feel so blessed to have this little one in our lives. She brings us so much joy and is teaching us so much.
