3 months!

Lots of changes this month for our little family!

Bailey is still  a happy girl most days.  She wakes up smiling and often smiles in her sleep. She is giggling more and actually laughs when you tickle her. She has been blowing bubbles like crazy and is a drool machine. She doesn't like her pacifier anymore, if you try to give it to her she will stick her tongue out, blocking her mouth. She loves to lick everything {especially Mommy's face and arm}!  

 

She loves being outside, taking her outside immediately calms her when she is fussy. She is very observant and is always looking around at her surroundings. She has been actively trying to sit up and is almost always lifting her head up, often straining against her car seat straps trying to get a better view. She still loves her baths and going for walks.

 

She is still very long and has been outgrowing her clothes like crazy! It makes me sad putting away her newborn clothes, but watching her grow and change everyday is fun. Her personality is starting to emerge, although it does seem that she has a little temper, so we are trying to  work on that.

Chris and I have gone out twice by ourselves, leaving Bailey with her Nana and Grandma. It's getting easier for me to leave her and it's good for us to have time together.

She is "talking" so much! We have lots of conversations throughout the day {but she is most talkative in the morning}, she will look right into your eyes and make all kinds of noises as if you can understand exactly what she is saying. She has learned how to be loud and often makes new noises that make us laugh.

She has been great at taking a bottle, a little more difficult in the middle of the night because it takes longer to heat up, but she and Daddy have been bonding over feedings. She and Daddy are getting lots of quality time because he is taking paternity leave right now.

I don't know how we were so lucky to be blessed with such a sweet girl, but I'm very glad we were! No matter how big she gets, I hope she always knows how big our love for her is!
