Chris' birthday trip

  When we first started  dating, Chris and I decided that to celebrate our birthdays we would take a trip or go somewhere to make a memory instead of buying gifts for each other. It has been really fun, sometimes the trips are surprises and other times we get to help plan our days. (we have gone to concerts, hot air ballooning, and Monterey)
 
  This year was a surprise trip for Chris and I decided that we would spend the night in Long Beach and go to the Aquarium of the Pacific. Chris was excited when he found out where we were going and we thought it would be a great first vacation together as a family.

  The aquarium was really nice {although it was really hot for the outside attractions} and there was a lot to look at. Bailey slept through most of it, but she woke up when we were outside too long and she got warm, so we headed back inside and cooled off. I would definitely recommend the aquarium, it only took about half the day to see all the attractions and it was a great first vacation for our family of three.

We finished our hot afternoon with drinks {lava flows} at Bubba Gump's.

  We had a great vacation and decided to spend a second night in the hotel since we were having a good time. Bailey did great in the hotel and is turning out to be a great traveler!
