So I haven't been that great at updating my In My Book Bag page. Mostly because the books I've been reading lately haven't been worth sharing, more cheesy romance novels and fun reading than anything serious or thought provoking.
I went to the library the other day to stock up my stack of books {I love that our library has lots of paperback books that are on the honor system for taking out and returning. They don't have a due date and you don't have to check them out, just bring them back when you are done} and found one called "Diary Of A Mad Mom-To-Be" by Laura Wolf. It was so funny and actually informative for Mom's to be to be that I finished it in two days.
At first, it was a little hard to get into because it is written like it's her actual diary (so it's not broken into chapters), but I was soon enjoying the writing. I would actually recommend this book to any Mom's to be, it has lots of good information that you will get from any normal pregnancy book, but just more fun to read. I think women who are already Moms would find this funny too.
I did buy a new book today that I think is going to be really good and thought provoking: 90 Minutes In Heaven by Don Piper. Hopefully I'll finish my current book soon and be able to share my thoughts in the near future on that one. I doubt I'll be doing much reading in the near future, other than Dr. Suess and other children's books, but if you have any book recommendations, I'd love to check them out!
