This "weekend" we were fortunate enough to have Thursday off together and while Chris got paid to go to work on Friday, I worked at home. Here is what we accomplished on our days off.

| We have been looking for shutters for the office and guest room, but their price was a lot more than we expected, so we decided to go with faux plantation style blinds. We found these at Lowes and while they are not exactly what we wanted, we are happy with the result. |

| I have been wanting to get some artwork on the walls for awhile now, but there has been so many other projects to work on, it has been put on the back burner. We decided to put up one piece in the den and it was a heavy one, so here Chris is installing some anchors above the fireplace. |

| This sculpture/candle/artwork was given to us by one of my coworkers as a wedding gift and I'm glad to finally get it up on the wall! I think we are going to get some flameless tealight candles, but I am happy with how it looks. Now to get the fireplace finished! |

One of my projects was to get at least one of our cars in the garage and fortunately I succeeded! As long as you don't look at the double car garage it looks clean! Unfortunately, the battery was dead in our garage remote control and it is a strange, small battery; so one more thing to add to the list.

We also bought new outdoor lights, talked to someone about getting new front doors (unfortunately our door size is not standard, so we have to custom order them), found a patio set that we are going to get, and found out that our new furniture is going to be delivered on Tuesday! The house sure is coming together!!
