As is always one of her first stops at Nana and Grandpa's, Bailey ran up to hold one of her favorite chickens to say hello.
Nana and Wyatt happy together!
The weather was absolutely gorgeous so we decided to take a walk together!
{Bailey had the best seat for our walk}
Mom's favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, but last year she was really sick and didn't even get to taste any of our dinner. We decided that for her birthday we would recreate a full Thanksgiving dinner.
While it didn't go exactly as planned, it was still delicious, we had leftovers for days (like normal thanksgiving), and a great time eating together!
Stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, gravy...
Honey baked ham and turkey.
My delicious plate!
I learned how easy stuffing is to make and how tasty it is!
Our plan was to have a few different desserts, so I made some mini pumpkin pies.
I kind of winged it and made my own plan, and it worked pretty well!
Of course we had to have birthday cake!
My Mom loves coconut cake so I found an easy recipe, Bailey loved helping to make and eat it!
{the frosting kind of melted on our trip, I joked I could add some button eyes, mouth, and a carrot nose and it would be a perfect melting snowman cake!}
Chris was able to take the day off of work and came up to join us for the weekend!
My handsome guys!
Like I said, the weather was absolutely beautiful so we spent as much time outside as we could!
My and my girl
We made time for some sunbathing!
One of Wyatt's favorite spots is in the swing, he takes after his Momma.
Mom's friends surprised her with a night out at the Melodrama, Bailey and I were able to tag along while the guys watched the Superbowl.
We had a lovely dinner at Ventana Grill in Pismo. The sun was just about to set and we enjoyed watching the waves below us before heading out to the show.
It was wonderful being able to surprise Mom, she does so much for us, it was really nice doing a little something for her. It was a perfect weekend with those we love!
