Full

Things have been pretty full around here lately.
Busy...yes.
Fast paced...yes.
But Full.

Days full of laughter, time together, time apart, cuddles, time with friends, family time, and full of memories being made together.
Normal days, but full days!

Here's a bit of what we've been up to:

Bailey has been growing like the weeds in my garden and she needed some new shoes. I found these black Mary Jane's at Target and had to get them. I She paired them with leopard pants and she looked adorable! {in my humble opinion of course}

We got to dress up a bit to celebrate the engagement of our dear friends Brandon and Amy. Bailey is excited to be one of their flower girls next year!
Bailey and her cousin Ella with their Grandma!
{sometimes the candid pictures turn out the best!}

Bailey started her first day of daycare this month. I've hesitated posting about this because I know it's not a decision many people make {especially within the blog world}, but we are really happy with our decision and how Bailey has already benefited from the experience. She goes one day a week and really enjoys it; it gives us a day to work on projects, enjoy some time as a couple and run errands uninterrupted.

We went to the Ventura County Fair where Bailey rode her first pony. She LOVED it! I have a cute video of her enjoying the ride, but it won't upload for some reason.

My Mom is the best at finding us deals and décor for our home. She and my Dad found this hutch for our kitchen. We've been struggling with our garbage cans: trying to find the best spot for them, making them inaccessible to curious hands and not having them out in the open. We're going to change up the cupboards to make it work for us.

We rented a houseboat with some friends on Lake Mead for the weekend. It was a relaxing, fun, hot weekend. It was nice to get away and float on inner tubes in the water and our friend Jon made us hats to commemorate the trip.

We also celebrated Chris' birthday. I had to work on his actual birthday, but we got to spend a bit of time together while I was on break, watching the Camarillo airshow. I also got us some cupcakes from Crushcakes {where Bailey's birthday cupcakes were from} and they were delicious!

Chris and I went out to dinner with some friends to celebrate a birthday and Bailey got to spend time with Grandma, Aunt Elizabeth, and Ella. Ella brought Bailey this dress back from their trip to Mexico and Grandma was able to catch Bailey in the perfect dancing pose!

Bailey spent a week up with Nana and Grandpa while we were on our boat trip and working, so we wanted to do something fun when our family was back together. We spent a Sunday afternoon strolling around our small local zoo and even though there wasn't much to see, it was wonderful being all together.

Almost all of Bailey's teeth have come in so we've been working on brushing our teeth together to create healthy habits. This morning, she decided to make sure I was brushing mine correctly.

Yesterday we didn't have anything planned, so Bailey and I went to a local farm/fruit stand. There were a few other kids there and Bailey enjoyed playing with them in the sandbox and watching the animals. We spent over an hour enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.

Bailey has so many cute outfits {I'm totally jealous of her closet} and this is one of my favorites lately. I think I need to do a "what Bailey wore Wednesday" post. Bailey's hair is so long that it's always falling into her eyes and is most often in ponytails. I see a haircut in her near future!

Bailey loves climbing into the fridge and she thought she was so funny. This keeps a smile on my face! Some days, it's nice to let her play around and not deny her some fun.

As you can see, our life has been full lately. Wonderfully full!
I'm soaking up these days that are speeding by and I'm loving the little person Bailey is becoming!
