A hard decision

We have two cats: Jack (male) and Brick (female). We adopted them from a rescue group when they were 8 weeks old and they are now 2 1/2 years old. They aren't siblings but were raised in the same foster home before coming home with us.

Chris has always had allergies, but as long as he washed his hands after touching the cats it wasn't really a problem, we just kept them out of our bedroom. Then we were at the hospital for 5 days and once we came home it was obvious how severe his allergies really are (he had trouble breathing very soon after getting home).

His allergies combined with Bailey being here (and my worrying about her having allergies) has made us come to the difficult decision that we need to find a new home for them. We would prefer that they are adopted together and that they go to a loving home instead of back to the rescue group where we got them from.

They are litter box trained, very loving (Jack is a bit of a scaredy cat and often hides, but is a cuddle bug once he knows you), mostly indoor cats, have their shots and are fixed.

This was a hard decision for us, but we are hopeful that we can find a loving home for them with people who will love them as we have. If you, or anyone you know might be interested in two loving cats, please let me know (feel free to email me, keepingupwiththecrosbys @ yahoo . com) and feel free to pass the info onto anyone you know.

Thank you!
