Cloudy days

Today it has been raining, raining, raining here!

 It has been kind of nice being at work since I know I don't have to go anywhere, although curling up watching movies on the couch with Chris sounds pretty wonderful!

Yesterday, the clouds were coming in so I decided to take my camera around and capture whatever my eye landed on.

I'll readily admit that I did not make this banner.

I thought about making a spring one, but when I saw this for $6 at Target, I couldn't resist.

Chris bought me a Keurig a few years ago and it is wonderful, especially when I only want one cup of coffee. One of the downsides is that the one we have is huge and it takes up a lot of counter space.

What a better way to start off a cloudy day than with decaf coffee in a rock star mug??

The clouds just made our grass seem so much greener! (and it looks so nice after my personal gardener husband mowed it)

These beauties just popped up out of our hard as rock/clay ground next to the entryway.

Not the best picture, but I added a pop of color to my outfit. 

I'm glad for the rain today, as we really need it, but it has been BUSY at work today. So if you're out and about (even if it's nice outside) be safe!!
